Wife number six !!

Just a very quick posting to show my progress on Henry. I have worked on wife number 6 - Catherine Parr. She is going to be fun... there is just one symbol in the whole design that is purple and black thread blended together.... and lots of her dress is made of this symbol !!
I also started some of the side border.

Not huge progress... but some !!

Don't forget to tune in tomorrow for my blogoversary post..... it may be later in the evening as I have my friend Aly visiting tomorrow too.

Until then.

Wow...this project seems to have a life of its own! It is beautiful and really coming together now.
I dont like Henry the the VIII..the more I learn of Irish history, the less I like him, but your stitching really does bring the colours and the styles of the time to life wonderfully. If there is any justice in the afterlife, that is exactly where he is! standing between his wives hehe

I love how these wives keep magically appearing. And this piece is just so colorful. It must be incredibly good fun to work on. I don't know how you put it down to switch to other projects.
