Here's Henry.

Here is my update picture of Henry. I spent a lot of time on him last night, I was really enjoying working on him. I still think his head looks small but it is like that on the picture. His right shoulder and arm are complete, and his 3rd wife, Jane Seymour, is just emerging in the green and blue at the edge of his arm.

Yesterday afternoon we went TV shopping as our TV was playing up and we've had it a long time. We have had a new 32" flat screen Samsung TV and a new stand. It looks really nice.

Tonight I have a meeting at school, then I am out on Wednesday with friends and Thursday evening going shopping with the girls, so stitching will have to be slotted in between. I want to finish off my placecards (never did any of the last one this week), finish mom's gift (slow progress) and complete the roof on the cottage.

Many thanks for all your wonderful comments as usual, they make me feel very honoured that my stitching is appreciated!

Henry's looking good. I suspect your stitching time will actually increase since you'll want to sit in front of that new TV more now!

Henry's looking regal, but not as HOT as the actor who plays him on The Tudors... oh yummy!

Hi Jayne...I think you will like the Colour of Magic...it is actually the first two books, not just the colour of magic, and whilst they have left bits out from the books, what is there is quite true to TP's writings...David Jason is perfect as Rincewind...and am now reading the books again to remind myself of the story hehe
lol

Henry looks good. His head seems to be small, but that is caused by the clothes people were used to wear during that age. They put a lot of fabric in the shoulder parts to create a huge body. Like the clothes of the ladies, who created a very small waist.

Ohhh, such beautiful, beautiful stitching!!! I can't wait to see more of this design come to life.

Congrat's on the new TV! Sounds very nice.

Have a fantastic weekend! Hope it's filled with loads of stitching time.
